     Welcome to Red Rock Door and Design Co. In browsing our website, we understand that you are someone who has high standards for your home. We know that your home is the biggest investment you will ever make. We want to add to the value of that investment. The first thing a person sees as they enter a home is the front entry. There is just something about a solid wood door. The color, the grain, the feel, and the weight all come together to create a unique sensory experience from the moment you enter a home.      As you look through our doors, you will notice the beautiful craftsmanship and stunning design that makes a Red Rock Door what it is. Built custom-to-order right here in Utah, our doors are made locally, not outsourced and mass-produced in Mexico or China, so you can rest assured that these doors have been cared for and artfully built. Our doors are a full 1 3/4" thick, as opposed to 1 3/8" on many lesser quality doors. We feature a full thickness raised panel with beautifully moulded edges, as well as simpler shaker-style doors with square edges and flat panels. It all depends on your individual needs. We have over 45 doors that are standard, but keep in mind that we are a custom shop, and specialize in building that custom, one of a kind door. Our doors are mainly crafted from knotty alder, which has a grain similar to cherry, takes color beautifully, and is very stable. The knots give it so much character and personality, and the wood can be dressed up or dressed down from rustic, to French country. Besides knotty alder, we can do most any wood, from paintable poplar, to walnut and mahogany.
     You may notice that there is no pricing for doors on our website. Our website is a showcase for our work, which is mostly custom. Therefore, pricing is done on an individual basis, and is dependent on size, style, wood species and quantity. The larger the door order, the bigger the discount. We also carry a full line of solid wood trim to match your doors. Whether you are needing crown mouldings, chair rail, baseboard, casing, or a combination of any or all of these, we feature a large assortment of profiles and sizes to assure your needs are met.
